The production capacity of RST-Invent is:

Modern equipment for the production of RFID tags:

1 Label conversion and lamination line is used to convert RFID tags into labels.

On this line, RFID tags are introduced between two layers of paper, and other combinations of materials are also possible. Input unwinders uncoil rolls with inlays and rolls with adhesive backing and lamination. First, several materials are glued together (lamination, dry inlay, substrate). The resulting tape is run through a die-cutting knife, which cuts out the marks according to a certain pattern. Another coiler removes the remaining part of the marking tape from the cut, and another coiler collects the final product obtained. This is the so-called “wet inlay”.

2 The system for assembling and testing RFID tags is used to install chips on antennas.

This is a system for the rapid production of typical inlays in large volumes. The system includes the following processes on one modular platform: feeding a roll with antennas, applying glue, installing a chip, final heat treatment, testing and marking.

3 The line of automatic coding of RFID tags is used to assign unique identifiers to them and store the results in a database.

Equipment for research and development

1 An anechoic chamber is used to construct radiation patterns of antennas, study electromagnetic compatibility, and build EPR diagrams.

2 The semi-automatic assembly and testing system for RFID tags is used to develop prototypes and new versions of RFID tags.
