PatchTag – RST Invent http://www.rst-invent.com RFID tags and equipment Thu, 25 Feb 2021 08:19:50 +0000 en-GB hourly 1 https://wordpress.org/?v=5.6.13 http://www.rst-invent.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/07/favicon.png PatchTag – RST Invent http://www.rst-invent.com 32 32 Managing productive resources using RFID technology http://www.rst-invent.com/upravlenie-proizvodstvennymi-resursami-s-ispolzovaniem-tehnologii-radiochastotnoj-identifikacii-obektov-rfid/ Sun, 01 Dec 2019 08:00:23 +0000 http://www.rst-invent.com/?p=2231 RST-Invent was faced with a difficult task – to ensure the tracking of the movement of more than 300,000 objects of movable and immovable property of PJSC GEOTECH Seismic Exploration, while performing field geophysical work throughout the Russian Federation, including remote regions with a complete lack of infrastructure and networks of mobile and wired connection.

To implement the project, RST-Invent engineers needed to develop not only a system that could identify the fixed assets that make up the customer’s production resource, but also new types of RFID tags and equipment for reading them.

The implementation of the project also included:

  1. The formation of a single database of fixed assets;
  2. Creating an operational map of the deployment of fixed assets;
  3. Optimization of processes for accounting asset movements, with the exception of the human factor;
  4. Automation of the process of mobilizing resources from different regions of the Russian Federation;
  5. Monitoring the movement of production assets in real time.

As a result of the fruitful teamwork of the IT specialists of RST-Invent and PJSC GEOTECH Seismic Exploration, a flexible, reliable and high-tech complex was built with the possibility of rapid deployment in the field of seismic exploration workers, capable of self-diagnosis.

установку в любом месте движения ОС и обеспечило простоту подключения к энергосети.

The created mobile equipment with universal mounts (on a tree, a pipe, a carriage house, a container or a vehicle) made it possible to install it anywhere and made it easy to connect to the power grid.

A resource management system using radio frequency identification technology (RFID) has been implemented in 40 seismic parties and auxiliary units operating throughout the Russian Federation from the Caspian region (sea party), Volgograd, Orenburg region, Komi, Nenets Autonomous Area, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area(Ob Bay ), Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Tyumen Oblast, Taimyr Autonomous Area to Yakutia (district of Mirny).

RFID-automation of accounting and maintenance of material and technical resources of the South Ural Railway http://www.rst-invent.com/rfid-avtomatizacija-ucheta-i-tehobsluzhivanija-materialno-tehnicheskih-resursov-juzhno-uralskoj-zheleznoj-dorogi/ Fri, 26 Sep 2014 17:01:45 +0000 http://rst-invent.com/?p=1559
The hardware and software system for accounting and maintenance of material and technical resources, developed by PCT-Invent by order of CJSC Industry Implementation Center (CJSC OTSV), allowed the Chelyabinsk regional communication center to fully automate the functions of engineers for control and repair and service centers, to improve the quality and the accuracy of the information received, as well as significantly reduce the time taken to record available equipment.

CJSC “OСV” (Subsidiary Dependent Company of JSC Russian Railways), implements a comprehensive project for the automation of accounting for railway telecommunication equipment of the Chelyabinsk regional communication center based on modern marking technologies.

The Chelyabinsk Regional Communication Center is a structural unit of the Central Communication Station, operating in the region of the South Ural Railway, and is engaged in the maintenance of railway telecommunication equipment.

In order to control the movement of equipment, the quality of service facilities and preparation for the accumulation of data for the transition to electronic document management, the Chelyabinsk Regional Communications Center decided to introduce RFID technology.

At the stage of the pilot project, which was launched in 2013, the specialists of RST-Invent LLC and OСV CJSC managed to work out the tasks of automating the accounting process and actually tracking the entire operational cycle of technical resources of the South Ural Railway.

RFID system: principle of operation

All objects subject to accounting, starting with vehicles and ending with working tools, are marked with RFID tags. The variety of items required the use of several types of tags in the project.

So, for large objects (motor vehicles, laboratory car, etc.), packaged PatchTag RFID tags were used, which provide a large registration distance. For marking working tools, as well as stationary and portable equipment – small-sized labels of foreign manufacturers.

With the help of stationary RFID readers, the equipment brought in / taken out to the service center is recorded, its delivery and receipt is recorded at the warehouse, and the maintenance and repair operations are recorded in the control and repair center (CRC).

To perform on-site maintenance, fixing parameter measurements and checking equipment operability, the CRC engineers use mobile RFID readers connected to the PORC GSM wireless network. The task to the engineer goes directly to the mobile reader. When leaving for the object, the specialist reads the RFID tag of the object to be repaired, and then, upon completion of the task, sends data with the result of the work to the Center’s accounting system, where they are recorded with the exact coordinates of the serviced object.

The implementation of the RFID system has proven its effectiveness by allowing specialists of the Chelyabinsk regional communication center to significantly reduce the time taken to account for available equipment, minimize the human factor in obtaining and processing information, and quickly monitor the degree of wear of equipment and facilities of the South Ural Railway.
